Welcome to Harriette Atkins Counselling, Camberley
I am an experienced BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) registered counsellor offering effective therapy in a private and confidential setting in Camberley, Surrey.
At times in life we all find ourselves facing situations or challenges which we can find distressing and sometimes difficult to cope with. Having a safe, confidential space to feel heard and explore what is going on can be extremely beneficial.
Counselling can help make a real difference in how we think or feel about things and help us make the changes we want for a happier future.
I have extensive experience of working with a broad range of issues, including; depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, relationships, redundancy, anger management and self esteem. More specifically, covering areas such as OCD, eating disorders, physical, psychological and sexual abuse, bereavement and post traumatic stress disorder (PSTD).
If I am unavailable when you call, please leave a message on my confidential answering service and I will return your call.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Pyschotherapy (BACP) and of the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Pyschotherapy. As a Member of BACP I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy (where practitioners undertake research) and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force. I hold full Professional Liability Insurance and a clear enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
